In short: Very well organised and friendly event, it was my first 10K for a couple of years so the hills were a bit of a challenge but thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

In short: Good parking, good organisation and a scenic race route. Seemed a lot more uphill on the second lap but the last couple of kilometres allow for a sprint finish.

In short: long long up hill
In full: A great location for it with good changing facilities at the start (note no toilets and a distinct lack of vegitation next to the start line though!). Well marked train but those long up hills really hurt. A shame that with all that space in Knole it couldn't be made one longer loop instead of 2 shorter ones. Great place though and well organised.

In short: Pleasant race but hard
In full: I only started running last September. When I did a 5k in October I found the route quite hard. This route went along part of the way - and this time I was able to get up the slope (until the steep part of the hill) so I was pleased about that - and good to look back to see people still running up the slope behind me - I wasn't last - yay!! Nor was I lapped (another first)! Maybe I'm getting fitter. My struggle up the steep slope is worrying - I've got a half marathon in Hastings next week - with a steep hill for the first half so I understand - hmmm.....

Marshals were mixed - some very encouraging, others just standing there.

Nice photographer half way round - very encouraging. Ok that was my hubby (check out his flickr pictures of the race - http://www.flickr.com/photos/46168007@N06/sets/72157623619191308/).

Overall the race was good. The only downside is that the registration is about 10 min walk from the start. I was fortunate, I could give my coat to my hubby, before I started, but what the others did I'm not so sure. Would have been useful to have a baggage drop near the start.

Nice to have bananas and water at the finish - and a fantastic medal! The best of the 6 races I've done so far!!!

In short: Scenic, fun
In full: I last did this in 2008, when I saw lots of deer. None this year! I'm glad to say that it was dry underfoot this time, making it a much easier race. This is a charity fundraising race and given that, I think the entry fee is very reasonable. The last charity race I did cost double. This race has reaally grown in size since 2008.

In short: Beautiful scenery, well organised, well worth it
In full: really enjoyed it - great place to run, well organised with lots of friendly faces, and a challenging course without being too evil. Will be back

In short: A hidden gem, great scenery although not a pb course. It may have been idea if there was a dessignated area to leave yor racing gear at the start/finish instead of at the Leisure Centre. Will recommend this race as an event for my Club's Champs.

In short: Makes a welcome change from running on roads
In full: First time running this race, and came a fair way to run it. Am very pleased i did, despite feeling somewhat under the weather, the 2 lap format allowed me to pace the race well, finishing with a negative split. Lovely setting and for a non running club event very well organised. Only minor gripe was that the water station was undermanned, perhaps a local scout group could help.
