In short: Excellent organisation and a lovely PB- what more could a girl want?
In full: Not pretty, but functional 10k. Lovely atmosphere, buzzy HQ with good facilities. My first "sensible" race in a while (- ie no mud, no dressing up, no vertical bits or steps)so fancied a pb and got it by 2 mins :) Marshalling was excellent - several roundabouts, junctions etc with plenty of people at all of them looking out for us.
Thanks 26.2 - nothing to moan about at all !

In short: Biscuits at the end - what more can I say?
In full: This race always seems to attract a really socialble group of runners and is very friendly at the back of the field. We all motivated each other on and I finished in a better time than I'd predicted, so thanks to everyone.

I'll be back next year.

In short: Appreciated
In full: Last did this 4 years ago when it was my 2nd ever 10k, and now 4 years on and many, many races later can look at this in a whole new light, and a good light too.
Nice new spacious HQ settings, well sign posted, well marshalled, and nice cheap entry.
Only complaint, k markers after 1k were out, but it's irrelevant really, the race is 10k and that's all we need.
Personally I loved the atmosphere but that's what you get as a regular club runner - banter, positive greetings and a chillaxed aura at the start line.
Ok, so the scenery wasn't 'picnic material', but you can't have the best of both worlds, you want a fast 10k, you need it on roads, you want scenery, do a trail race and don't expect a PB. I still stick to the fact if you are racing then the scenery shouldn't be noticeable, just the guy in front and the people chasing behind you is what you worry about.
Great 10k test early on before London, so a good gauge/sharpener.
Thanks 26.2 RRC!

In short: well organized and friendly 10 km event
In full: thanks to 26.2 RRC for excellent organization and marshalling There were plenty of toilets & parking, the start / finish worked well and the facilities were slick. The route is interesting / rural up to 7 km but after that it's pretty horrible running on pavements through housing estates / along main roads so echo comments from other runners that it wasn't very inspiring.
