In short: Brilliant day!!!!! Finish a bit disorganised though
In full: I didn't have any problems at the start with parking/toilets, but then i turned up at 9.30. Hubby even managed to get back out, wave to me on the course (twice) and get back to greet me at the finish!!!!

Loved every minute of it, and will do it again next year.

In short: What happened at the finish???
In full: It started promisingly although there appeared to be no supervised baggage storage as far as I could see? Marshalling was good although some of the teenagers were rather "enthusiastic" and standing in the middle of the course. Nice day, surprisingly nice scenery - unexpected for Milton Keynes. But what happened at the end?? When we finished there was a queue of runners queuing back past the finishing line. We were made to stand around for about 10 minutes in no apparent order for no apparent reason? It was be very interesting to see what official time I have ended up with???!

In short: Poor organisation.
In full: The race got off to a bad start with waiting for 10 minutes to be told the car park was full and then being directed to another car park. Then a further long que for the toilets ment that I didn't cross the start until 10.34. I had to ask spectators which way to go! After i did catch up the pack i ran with many other on open roads, with cars driving along!!! less than ideal.

I have been on 4 nike runs before all of which have been fantastic. This was a really amature afair and unless they really shake it up not worth the trip.

Also what was the standing around at the end for!!!!

No timing chips so no time official time.

In short: Good race, pity about mess at the finish.
In full: The organisation of the race was spot on, apart from the problems at the finish which have the potential to spoil the whole experience - if you've worked hard and then don't get the time you have earned, it leaves a bad memory. My time was not too far out but I think others offical times were slow by 5-10 minutes which is not what you need. perhaps the championship chips would have helped?
But otherwise good race, excellent medal, lots of free lucozade drinks. Enjoyed it.

In short: A nice race, good route, good atmosphere. Unfortunately hampered by poor organisation, esp at the end, when in the freezing cold, having to queue to cross the finish line. How accurate times could have possibly been recorded I've no idea?

In short: A good FLM warm-up, a little more organisation at the start and finish and some Nike goodies would of been better!
In full: I enjoyed this race as part of my FLM warm up.

I agree with lots pf people's comments about the start and finish which was poor but the marshalls and police presence was excellent.

I wouldn't say that the up and downs were too challenging and the scenery was much better than I expected.

Nike sponsorhip for this event promised much but failed to deliver anything at the finish which was a little disappointing.

Goody bags and a t-shirt next time please!

In short: Good PB potential, parking and water stations. Shame they didn't put down timing mats as lots of people had run london chips on anyway. Missed start gun as well!

In short: Poorly organisated event. MK was as dull as I thought it might be but I did get a new PB
In full: The pre-race instructions where terrible, no map, directions where poor. Somewhere to leave your bag was a hall which anybody could have walked into and taken it. At the finish we had to queue in the cold to have our numbers taken. Won't be doing this one again.

In short: Good race for PB's, but was was that finish all about?
In full: Overall I would have to say that the race is very good for PB's.

But I do have to agree with some of the other comments already made......

Predicted finishing times at the start would have been good......Also from where I was standing I never heard the gun go off......

A few more loos at the start would have been better......still a massive cue with only 5 minutes left to the start of the race......

And what was that finish all about......please! A race that is sponsored by Nike and no chip timing?

I have to say good race but still needs fine tuning overall.
