In short: A fantastic trail race.
In full: A 1 mile lap then 2 x 2 mile laps.
This year the weather was hot and sunny so made you sweat plenty.
Definately do it again later in the year to beat my time.

In short: A reasonably challenging, well organised trail run
In full: Enjoyed again, two others from Sale ran and despite the heat said they enjoyed it as well. Well done to Gary and ATRR for the organisation and support, look forward to the next one and the Gill Pimblott 5K, bet it's not as sunny then !

In short: Does What It Says On The Tin
In full: Very well organised, undulating 5 mile trail race.
The undulations and the loose, fine-gravelly surface would make obtaining a PB difficult, but not impossible.
One 1 mile loop, followed by 2x2 mile loops, mean that the runners pass/reach the spectators at the finish on 4 separate occasions, and with the announcer reading out names and the almost constant flow of runners at different speeds passing by, this is an excellent race for the spectators.
Entry price of 6 quid (including T-shirt) is amazingly generous.
Very hot this year, but now have a course PB that I can go back to beat in the future...

In short: This is a really great race but it was very hot which put the pb`s out of the window
In full: Great overall race organised by a small running club who seem to always put on fantastic races. The course makes for excellent running and traffic free with encouragement from the smiley marshalls.
Pasty and a pint for lunch went down a treat.
