In full: A great mix of trail , woods, water, mud (bottom deep). SOme horrendous climbs uphill clinging on to any branch available, good descents too. Great goody bag and t-shirt. Energy totally spent by the end running up to the finish. PLenty of loos, well organised. Apparently a kids race, but missed it so not sure how that was. Will be back

In short: Absoloutely brilliant!
In full: Pure, stinking mud- you know you've gone through all the puddles when a runner passes you and half-jokingly remarks "wow, you stink!"
Thanks to those who stopped and checked on my wellbeing when I twisted an ankle after 8 miles. I can't recommend this race (or series) highly enough- as long as you know what you're letting yourself in for.

In short: The best fun I've ever had - don't hesitate, just do it
In full: This was my first off road race, and I'd only run 10 miles twice previously. As a real beginner (6 months running) I was a bit hesitant, but then I though what the heck. The course was nice and varied, a few bottlenecks (would have benefitted from staggared starts) but loads of messy fun. I was expecting more challenge from the X Zone (but I am a bit of a nutter). Would reccommend to anyone, and def going to do Bordon in November. A real thumbs up. :0)

In short: The hardest race I have ever done.
In full: Steep hills, bogs, tight and twisting turns, streams and woodland paths. Surrey Hills had everything.

I expected it to be hard, especially in the heat and it didn't disappoint any any way. The sense of achievement crossing the finishing the race was enormous.

I don't know whether the extra water station was always going to be there or was due to the weather but it was a welcome addition.

I am already looking forward to Bordon in November!
