In short: An excellent day out, nice to get the miles in and still have the afternoon!!
In full: A mentally tough event, but thoroughly enjoyable. Water stations situated perfectly and the loop onto the downs was a real reminder as to why I get out and run. Fantastic weather played its part. Thanks for making the usual long sunday run more enjoyable. Good job!!

In short: I thought it was great !
In full: Firstly,I thought the organisation was exceptional. The air cadets were superb:well spaced, attentive water stations and they were coming round at the finish and topping up our cups and handing out jaffa cakes. The venue was top class too.Great facilities, loads of parking and very easy to get to.I was impressed by the on-screen interim results at the finish-first time I've seen that done.

The rolling start was interesting, although it seemed that most runners went off early.By the time I set off,at 9.25,I think I was one of the last 3 starters. The only real problem I had was in the early part of the return section on the A20.The path was very narrow there and the verge very rough and rutted,so I had to run on the A20 at times to overtake. However, the rest of the route was no problem.

The memento was nothing special, but much more importantly it was an excellent, very well organised race that I hope becomes a regular fixture.

In short: Good training run for FLM as the distance matched my scheduled long run. I did it at my MGP and it went really well so I was welll chuffed .
In full: This was a well organised race, especially for a 1st time. I liked the rolling start although it was still very narrow in places and difficult to pass or be passed.
The hill was nice and testing but worth it when you got the nice views from the top. I'll be back next year if I've got a London Marathon place but otherwise no.
Also well done to the cadets at the water stations they did a good job and were really encouraging. There could have been a few more marshalls along the course as quite a few junctions had no marshall and this could have caused a problem.
All in all not a bad day but made better for me by me completing 17.3 miles at my MGP and not being to knackered at the end of it.

In short: Well organised run. The section off the A20 was the best bit by far!
In full: As a training run for London this ticked all the boxes! Good friendly event that given time could turn in to a must-do for those building up to a Spring Marathon.
