In short: super off road race with a couple of lung busting ascents. Idyllic backdrop.
In full: Great event - off road, heart pumping ascents and some glorious scenery. Loved it even though it wasn't 10 miles.

In short: Was treated poor at finishing line due to not running
In full: We got told of at the finishing line becuase we were last, (since my mum had a knee replacement. We were told of becuase we were 'in the way' of the 10mile runners who were also going through the finishing line. There was plenty of space, so it was not necessary. We left feeling like we done wrong, not we done good for charity.

In short: A beautiful run out
In full: Great scenary distracts nicely from the tough climbs in this hilly event. Course is tight in a couple of places, but overall very well marked and marshalled. Recommend it

In short: Great family event.
In full: I ran the race with my two young sons and we were made to feel very welcome. The new course is better and safer for the younger runners. We will be back, although I may not keep up with my boys next year!
