In short: Not as bad as I thought it might be...but still sore!
In full: First time at Grim for me and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was expecting worse as I had watched my partner complete TurboX 2 weeks ago and thought it would be more similar. By mile 2 I was still wondering where the 'long slow hill' promised at mile 1 was...not that slow or long to be honest! Good organisation, really grateful of the changing areas. It would have been nice to get a goody bag like at most other events - a tshirt and a bottle of water was rather stingy (and the help yourself to schoolbars was pointless if you finished after 1hr 20 as all gone!) A good mix of terrain, from tank tracks, to long flat paths to lose-your-trainers-mud, I would recommend to others, but think I'd rather do TurboX even though it's longer.

In short: Not as bad as I thought it would be!
In full: 1st hill is murder, a few bottle necks but what ever the problems it's all just a bit of a giggle really. Booked to do it again in 2009!

In short: This was great fun!
In full: I was a first timer and will defo do it again next year. The weather conditions were perfect, though I reckon if it had been throwing it down with rain it may not have been such fun as I wouldn't have been able to run fast enough to keep warm!

In short: Great atmosphere. Really good fun.
In full: A great race for atmosphere and something a bit more challenging. A staggered start would be better though as was pretty congested in narrower sections, especially towards the start. Thanks is needed for the Marshal who perked everyone with her singing!!
