In full: The description of the race profile as "flat" was grossly mendacious. I have often raced in Wimbledon over distances form 10K to half marathon and know it to be very hilly, but it would be possible to have a flat 10K race with a route twice round the common and this description lead me to enter as I wanted to evaluate my performance level on a flat course. This course was hopeless for that. The organisers should have been frank. In addition timings weren't helped by the fact that the last three-quarters of a mile were run on the Common paths which in the aftermath of a very stormy Saturday were water-sodden, muddy and, in parts, very slippery. A course adjustment to stick to roads, leaving just the final run-in of some 80 metres on grass would make more sense in future years

In short: Managed to knock 4 mins off PB and sub 45mins. The mud was quite fun wasn't it?

In short: Well organised, chip timed but not as fast a course as I had hoped.
In full: Was a well organised event, first half was quite flat and fast, but hilly km in second half and muddy last km made it bit tougher, but overall, still a good race, still got PB, so cant complain.

In short: Sun and Mud
In full: I really enjoyed this, not sure why(given the mud.) Organisation was good and I managed a storming first 5k taking 1 and a half minutes off my pb, second 5k was less glamorous and more hilly but still respectable. I'd happily do it again.

In short: A Nice morning run in a nice village
In full: There was a nice feel to this race, friendly people, and encouraging marshalls. The course was muddy in places, but overall a really pleasant way to spend sunday morning. The early start meant it was perfect for meeting up for Brunch in Wimbledon village post-race.
