In short: Fantastic run through the Park
In full: Really friendly atmosphere, very helpful and cheerful marshalls. Great organisation given that it was their first event but will definitely do it next year. Cant understand bag drop comments - was not that far away and weather up to the Sunday morning was atrocious. Perfect weather on the day for running which was the icing on the cake.

In short: The best 10k I have had the pleasure of!
In full: It was a glorious autumnal morning, centre of London, in Hyde Park, running in a race with a good mix of runners, what more can I say? Brilliant. Will definitely run it again. I have run a few marathons, a few halfs, and a few 10K races and this was the perfect size. The bag storage was really convenient (to the runner that complained earlier, you should try the New York Marathon - that was over half a mile away!). You normally get loads of spam and sugarfree gubbins in goody bags so I was pleasantly surprised to find just the nuts and bolts for post race re-fuelling and none of the promospam one normally has to bin! Well done After Adoption somebody there knows about runners!!

In short: Great location and great race
In full: A great race in one of the best London locations. Good mix of both elite and fun runners with friendly, supportive marshalls throughout. A few too many turns for a PB but still a really enjoyable race and amazing luck with the weather! I'd definitely do it again

In short: Great event catering for all standards
In full: I think the Afteradoption Hyde Park 10k is a great addition to the "fun run" calendar. I was attracted to it because, after the Parks Half Marathon, there are not many inner London fun runs prior to the New Year - plus it provided an opportunity to support a very worthwhile charity.

I thought given the inclement weather prior to the race that the organisers did a really good job - particularly as it was their first year. Admittedly tiptoeing across the puddles to the bag drop was a challenge, but given the waterlogged state of the surrounding areas I could not really see another alternative. I echo the comments below that the staff/organisers were really friendly and welcoming and I thoroughly enjoyed the morning.

In short: Perfect Sunday morning
In full: You can't top Hyde Park for sights to take your mind off the pain and relative flatness. Full marks also for cheerful marshalls and finding the only dry and sunny spell in a weekend of horrific weather.
