In short: well worth the effort, but hills not for the faint hearted!
In full: Marshalls very friendly and frequent well organised water stops. Most of the course was well marked but a couple of the signs had been tampered with. The course was very scenic but the hills are tough. I will definately be back next year.

In short: It gets you out in the open!
In full: I said last year that I'd never do this one again due to how knackered I felt at the end. This year I had a superb run and may be back again. This has got to be the hardest but most scenic race I've ever taken part in. Hats off to the organisers, marshals and anyone who dares to take part!

In short: Worth doing, but be prepared.
In full: The marshalls were excellent and very patient. Being a first timer I wasn't sure if I would finish, but received no pressure and plenty of encouragement.

In short: Thanks for a great morning out.
In full: First Jog Shop Jog and I loved most of it ( can't say I loved the pain but the rest of it wouldn't feel the same without it); scenery, atmousphere, challenge of the uphills, challenge of the steep descents and the support of the marshals were all fantastic.

Had no problems with the directions, but then again being a local I have run the course in training; maybe an extra marshall on the windmill hill in Rottingdean and an extra drinks station between the base of the Big W at Kingston and the run down into Rottingdean wouldn't go amiss.

Apart from that just a big thank you to all those involved (organising and taking part); keep up the good work and see you again next year).

Cheers - HLS
