In short: Well organised and enjoyable race.
In full: Beautiful route although rural can mean low level of crowd support in places, but marshalls and other volunteers were great and encouraging throughout. Easy first half but more challenging second half. Train well and you will enjoy this race.

In short: This is no reflection on the race at all. I only ever planned on dong one full marathon.
In full: Thanks for making my one and only marathon a fab one. My dad says we all have one marathon in us. Yippeeeeee! I can tick that box.

In short: Just superb - excellent organisation and atmosphere
In full: Second time I've completed this and it impressed once again. The tented area is really good for the family and the level of support from the marshals and spectators really is exceptional. The course is undulating enough to be challenging without being overly difficult for those, like me, who are definitely in the amateur camp.

In short: Friendly organisers, officials and volunteers. Lovely supporters along the way. Only second marathon so not too much to compare with.

In short: Very well organised with great support
In full: This was my first marathon and after this experience it will not be my last. It was very well organised. The volunteers at the drinks stations and along the route really made it for me. Their enthusiasm was infectious and really carried me around the miles. I highly recommend this race.

In short: Took 28 minutes off my PB - very happy!
In full: Excellent organisation and brilliant support from spectators along the route and from the marshals. Chester is a very friendly city - we stayed on for a long weekend and had a great time. Signed up for the Half Marathon in May already.
