In short: Really enjoyed it. Much better than last year.
In full: I really enjoyed this year's 10k. The route was far better than last year's boring out-and-back slog. The road surface wasn't realy a problem. While there wasn't much support around the route, the crowd at the finish were great. The only criticism I'd make was that the signs suggesting where you should line up at the start were too close together. But most people seem to ignore them anyway.

In short: no goody bag, no finish line, no worm up music, no atmosphere and a rubbish t shirt.

In short: Great for beginners, nice and flat
In full: Was disapointed not to see more K markers, only saw 4K, 8K and 9K. Needed them to motivate me along. Felt the organisation at end at little vague also, apart from the giving out of medals, fatigue made me confused as to where you received t-shirts, missed out on drinks queue.

In short: Good for beginners & a nice medal
In full: I enjoyed the morning despite missing out on the pb i had planned for.
However there did seem less participants and a litle less oomph than last year about the whole thing?

In short: This was my first 10K so did not have anything to compare it with but the experience was great and all went to plan as far as I could see.I was very impressed with the effort that was put in by all the runners, front middle and rear!!.

In short: Fabulous Liverpool friendliness, beautiful route and PB too.
In full: Great atmosphere, friendly encouragement from crowds, stewards and runner-to-runner. Great mix of abilities: beginners should definately use this race to get them into running.

Lovely route. I run Sefton Park all the time, so feels like visiting an old friend. Don't know if I'll still feel this way in years to come if it stays out here! As a v local local I had no trouble finding start and needed no parking, so I'm lucky these concerns didn't bother me. There was no road-closure warning which did nothing for PR, and I missed a couple of K markers: Signage-effort needs improving!

Organisation at end a bit rough too. Oxygen-starved brain couldn't figure out what queue was for, whether I'd missed out on goody bag, and crucially where water was. Thanks to other runners for telling me!
