In short: I have run this race 4 times out of last 5years. Didn't run 2004 as moved to Bournemouth but travelling back 2005 as miss the first 5mile hill challenge!! Its the only race I have done that makes you feel the training was worth it!
In full: I could write masses. This is the best, friendliest, support and the hardest race I have ever done and still return to do it again. If you can finish the Hastings Half the LFM is a doddle! Good luck to all.

In short: PB Course if you train on hills
In full: Well worth doing but there is a hill that goes on for about 5 miles and starts just after the start. Once it over it pace can be picked up

In short: Mad climbs, but the huge local support makes it special - even in a seafront gale!

In short: The hills are quite a shock to new runners - needs good (up and down) hill training in advance to avoid injury. Despite the weather, the seafront ending is very pleasant.
