In short: A great race, lovely atmosphere and excellent organisation. Worth doing.
In full: Have done this twice as half mara - first time as full. Thought the second lap would be tedious but was fine. Great support from crowd. Ample water stations and loads of portaloos on course should you need them. Definitely liked the earlier start time better.

In short: Well done on earlier start.
In full: Should have different starts for different times as was at back and had to walk mostly on first two miles which was annoying. Eventhough I am a slow runner (2h05).
Great new early start. Plenty of water etc. Why so expensive? Twice the price of others and no T-shirt! Third time I have done it but would not if it were not local because of price.

In short: Excellant race, used it as an alternativeto London. On a smaller scale, but still had a very good friendly atmosphere! The hills were a little more challenging.
In full: Overall a very good race, however I wouldn't reccomend an attempt of a PB. Water stops every 2 miles, I found gels worked quite well as a supplement, but it was difficult taking on cups of water without stopping! My friend used his camelbag, maybe an alternative option as he beat me!
The first lap is with the halr-marathoners, and the atmosphere is excellent! However the second lap is a little more lonely and requires a little deep digging especially on the few hills there are,(nothing compared to the Isle of White, so I'm told). The last few miles is along a dis-used railway line, and is very straight with little change in scenery, a far cry from the crowds along the embankment at London. That said, the scenery and the friendly atmosphere overall were great, just a little quieter.

In short: Great course and great support
In full: I enjoyed this alot, even though I missed my target. Good atmosphere and support in town and through the villages. On the 2nd visit I found the Greenway extremely tedious and never-ending; can't be avoided though. The hill at 8 and 18 is not nice, but the course cannot be described as hilly, perhaps nearly undulating. The marshalls and drink station staff were, in general, Supprtive, though some of the marshalls were on the verge of surly, a smile perhaps?
May well be back next year.

In short: Need 2 start the runners at diff times,or have runners start at positions, was overtaking people who should have started way behind me, and it just slowed me down, became a bit frustrating!!!!
