In short: Expensive, but a very enjoyable weekend
In full: Many people have commented on the cost of entry for this race, but I have to say given the frequency of water/sponge stations I soon forgot the price!!
A lovely course with only a few little inclines, a nice start lap around the centre of Stratford and a finish on the river made for a very enjoyable run. Oh, and I ran a PB, so that helped :-)

In short: 2 Hills but mainly flat well organised marathon.
In full: It did not seem there was that many people running the full mararthon. After the split I from the half I found myself runniing solo for a few miles.
It a bit disappointing that you have to run on the main road for about half a mile on each lap but this did not ruin a well marshalled and organised race. There was plently on water stops on route and was well supported in areas. The hill you go up twice was not that bad. I still managed a PB by 10 mins.

In short: Only a few hills, nice & rural, with BIG finish area
In full: My first full marathon. Plenty of water stations to keep you going & plenty of encouragement from other runners & the 'Go Leon' fan club.

In short: Very enjoyable not to hilly either
In full: My first half marathon there was good organisation throughout, was great to do a lap of the town at the start first. Good also to have several loo stops. The finish area was lovely, big enough for many spectators. I really enjoyed it and was pleased with my time

In short: Not a bad course for two laps of a half-marathon circuit. Big, big issue for me was the water stops: not enough, and impracticle 'cups' meant I couldn't take in enough water while running over the course of the race. Ended very dehydrated.

In short: My first half marathon so was well excited about doing this one.
In full: Great atmosphere but shame that parking could be such a nightmare.

In short: Hot!! Move the start time to 0900!!
In full: Overall I thought the marathon was pretty well organised. Plenty of water stations and marshalls. However, the start was a little chaotic - could do with a wider start, and segregation according to anticipated finish times.

Quite a scenic course - the hills tested, rather than overawed! The Greenway is long, flat and straight, especially on the second lap with the wind against. However I quite liked the course.

The main recommendation would be to move the start time to, say, 0900. It was really too hot to start at 1300.
