In short: Great marshals and good course
In full: 2 laps with some gentle hills. Scenic course. Great marshals with plenty of water stations with power gels. Definitely worth doing 20 miler as part of marathon build up and running part (or all) at marathon pace

In short: My first 20 mile race & already I want to do it again!
In full: Organisation was excellent, plenty of water/gel stations & friendly marshalls. Slightly challenging course for my first 20 mile race but well worth it!

In short: Consistantly good. Excellent marshalling
In full: Second time I've run this and its been improved by relocating the start so you run the race track circuit at the start rather than the previous soul-destroying finish. I don't like multi-lap events usually but moving into the second 10 mile lap seemed fine (even with the 10 mile racers finishing next to you). The course is great for marathon training. A few undulations to work all leg muscles and some nice scenery. Excellent giveaways at end, choc bars, drinks etc.

In short: A most enjoyable event.
In full: Getting to become a regular event. Unsure what it is but I never bore of running around this course - undualating enough to make it fast. The slight changes to feedback makes it even better. Plenty of nearby carpark (within metres) & friendly & helpful marshals & enough water stations around the course. Thanks & well done.

In short: It is the greta marshalls that really make this well organised event
In full: This was my third time at this event and will be back again in the autumn - although perhaps only for the 10! The organisation is great and to have such excellent parking so close to the start is rare, however, as ever with this race it is the enthusiastic and supportive marshalls who really make it - thank you and well done!
