In short: Another good year for the stagger In full: Great way to spend a sunday morning. Very well marshalled especially at the road crossings, that must be a thankless task. Really enjoyed it, well done Stourbridge RC Date of review: February 12, 2007

In short: A lovely way to spend a frosty winter morning. In full: A good varied course and an opportunity to try my new fell running shoes whgich easily coped with the mud and frosty grass. Only one really tough hill but we were rewarded with the sound of church bells as we headed down the other side.
Lack of distanc emarkers not a problem until I heard cheering towards the end only to find it was a football match and there was still half a mile to go.
Lovely hot showers and clean (before us!) changing rooms.
The coaster made a change although info on this site promised a horse brass. Perhaps I'll have to do it again next year. Date of review: February 6, 2007

In short: Very nice race In full: After reading all of the threads i was scared about this one but wasnt half as bad as i had imagined. Loved the bits of mud and the many hills. Very scenic and enjoyable. Not the type of course you get a PB at because of the crowds bunching up at fences/ gates.
It would have been nice to see mile markers even though not vital. Toilets were locked when i got there so was forced to water bushes - very thankful i didnt need a number two.
Really enjoyed the run itself and will do again but was surprised at being given only a coaster, not even a carrier bag with a banana or bottle of water. Maybe i just have built up expectations... Date of review: February 5, 2007
