In short: A very tough, but enjoyable race
In full: This, was my first half marathon, and boy, did I pick a belter. I was told it was tough, and it was. More hill training required. Can't wait to come back and try it again.

In short: Lovely hilly race :o)
In full: Nice hills, but probably not as hilly as I was expecting. A good course, well marshalled, friendly people. Lovely cake/tea place in the hall too.
A great t-shirt, long sleeved!!
Shame it wasnt chip-timed, but not too many runners so not a great difference between clock and Garmin.

In short: Great tough half marathon
In full: a lot of long hills but also a lot of downhill. Felt hard but that might have been because it was my first half marathon. Nice long sleeved top and great views!

In short: Great stuff, friendly and well organised.
In full: Unfortunately i didn't do justice to this excellent, well organised half marathon. Didn't help myself by managing to fall over after 3 miles D'OH. Marhalls very encouraging and nice refreshments in community centre after. Will definately be back next year to put things right!!

In short: Loved it
In full: This was my first half marathon and i entered as part of my marathon training. I had be warned beforehand that it was very hilly but i didn't actually find it that bad.

I think it helps that all my training is done on hills with living in Huddersfield but i can imagine it being tough if you are used to flatter training routes.
