In short: Confusion! ! ! ! !!
In full: Great race but organisers had little or no briefing. Would not have liked to be in the defrief! No clear marked finish line, lead bike went wrong way, blue rope at funnel could not be seen from the grass making it dangerous. But a very nice flat super fast course, but will have to pull their finger out to attract returnees.
Favourite race scoring is high for the pb potential.

In short: superfast course, in PB heaven...
In full: only one mile marker (2), no finish line, no drinks at the finish, manky weather, all made up for by running a 2 minute PB.

In short: A good race but needs improving a tad
In full: Good points: A cup instead of a medal (to me this was a good point), scenery (I love Willen Lake), marshalling during the race was excellent, the majority of the cause was flat hence excellent PB potential.
Bad points: Having the race HQ so far from the start (although I am sure there was no alternative given the location ... maybe think of changing the starting position), the organisation at the end was lamentable having to be filed into three lanes and wait to have our numbers taken after you have run your guts off is not acceptable, toilets (but then again this is always a complaint of mine)
Overall: A good race with the potential to be one of the best, it just needs the rough edges smoothing out. Loved the novel idea of the cup!

In short: Nice scenic, flat course... pity about the weather on this occasion.
In full: Could have done with a clearer finish line but no other complaints. Not sure what happened with the four front runners (seeing as I was at the back!) but apparently they were sent the wrong way.

In short: Shame about the mile markers being absent and the finish being unclear. The marshalls did an excellent job in horrible weather conditions.

In short: OK race, in wet conditions
In full: Nice enough race, well marshalled and flat course nice finishers mug, but missed the mile markers (except at 2 miles) and no water at the end

In short: A good effort
In full: The 40th anniversay race mug made my day.

Lack of parking around Willen Lake was a bit of an issue; there aren't many ways to get to places in a town built for the motor car (Milton Keynes). A course I run around regularly - very flat and fast. Suits beginners but this type of race will always appeal more to serious and semi-serious runners.

In short: Registrationon the day was a good half mile from start with no signs...
In full: In general:
No signs anywhere directing you to start or giving an idication that a race was taking place
Registration was a long way off from the start and the marshalls even had problems dircting me there...
