In short: A great plan B for London
In full: Even though its a 2 lap, it did not bother me one bit due to nice route and flat course, found it hard the 2nd lap due to strong winds.

In short: Great race (did the two-lap marathon option), although 'challenging' head wind made it a toughie
In full: Really well organised, welcoming race. Very lonely second half once we lost the 1/2 marathoners, but the encouragement by the cadets at the water station was great. More signs through Taunton to the start would have been helpful - for us non-locals - and another water-station would have been good too. As a marathoner, some sports-drink would have been nice too. Hills really not that bad at all & a down-hill finish is a nice touch. Facilities at start/finish were great, good to have a hot shower before the two-hour return journey.

In short: Brilliant organisation, undulating course with a testing headwind
In full: My first marathon and I'm not sure if it was a wise choice to add the additional pressure of a 4.30 cut-off time. Marshalling was brilliant, as was the rest of the organisation. The real bonus was finding that there was hot water left when I got to the showers.

In short: It was a very well organised race, thanks!
In full: Good race, course was more challenging than I anticipated it would be though! Organisation was extremely good - would definitely do it again.

In short: Got to be one of the best valued racess around.
In full: Ten quid for a full marathon, with a good race HQ and PA system, plentiful water and sponge stations, and a t-shirt and medal as well! Well done race organisers, you certainly supply great value for money.

In short: Nice Race!!
In full: Finished in 3hr 28 so well done me! Was a bit windy but enjoyed it. It wasn't as hilly as people made it out to be. Could of signposted the car park a bit better I thought and directions from the motorway. Marshalls on the second lap could of done a bit more pointing. I had to ask one if I needed to keep running or turn as he ate his sarnie! Other than that they did a very good job and the organisation at the start and in general was excellent. Nice t-shirt too! Well done to the support on the second lap from the cadets. Brilliant & showers too. Did not realise they had all those stands and sales near the start until I was about to set off as I had spent my time near the changing - Silly me!!!

In short: Undulating 2 lap course - lonely second half !
In full: Distance between some of the mile markers were way out. Drinks could have been a problem if it had been hot.
The 4-30 time limit was tight for a charity event ?

In short: Ouch, but fantastic!
In full: Picked up an injury half way round the full marathon so time wasn't as good as i'd liked, but the run itself was great - really well organised, not too many hills (!), good facilities and a nice t-shirt that i've been wearing with pride ever since.

In short: Very glad to have been running with my Dad on the second lap as we were suddenly very lonely. Scenery was great, hills nothing too onerous. Surprisingly weary by the end of the second lap, not helped by some dehydration, more drinks stations please.
