In short: Well organised race, but why an 11am start?
In full: Very hot, but you cannot blame the organisers for that. Very well organised, the marshalls were excellent with their encouragement on what was the hottest day of the year. Another water station at around 4 miles would have been appreciated if only to cool the body. The sports bag was a very good memento. Overall an excellent race, if only the start could be 10.00.

In short: 22 degrees too hot for comfort!
In full: A great race, really appreciated the band, sports bag at the end and just the whole atmosphere. I`m sure the scenery was lovely but it was too hot for me by far ( I think i`m a winter runner really) and so everything was marred by the overwhelming heat, it was also the first time I had taken my children with me ( ably looked after by my sister) and where were they when I put on that extra spurt at the end ( which almost finished me off I might add)......queuing for ice-cream! Still a great time was had by one and all and assuming it`s not as hot I will be back next year

In short: Hot!
In full: Great organisation but marred by the heat - 9.30 start please! Also could have done more with drinks... But a great run and really friendly. Loved the pirates!

In short: Great organisation, great marshalls, great race
In full: This was my third Wellingborough and I always look forward to it. Well organised with enthusiastic marshalls and a fast course, the only downside was the heat - a 10.00am start would have helped.

In short: Brilliantly organised race! Well done W.D.A.C.!!!
In full: Phew, what a scorcher but then again notorious for always being held on the hottest day of the year. Organisation was brilliant and my father appreciated the bar facilities whilst I did my bit for club and county!!! Keep up the good work, guys!

In short: A nice race but could do with starting earlier - way too hot!
In full: Appreciably the organisers can't control the weather(!) but a 10am start (or even slightly earlier) could have made the race much more enjoyable in my opinion. I just about took in the very pleasant route (while struggling under a strong midday sun!) and the marshalls were all excellent.

The good quality sports bag was a fantastic race memento, so much more useful than a medal.

I'd definitely do this one again next year if it had an earlier start.

In short: Great atmosphere, great race, but too hot (again)
In full: Despite the heat, i really enjoyed the race. shame they can't start at 10 though. Another water station on the course would have been good, as hot weather had been predicted all week.
Sports bag for all finishers a nice touch, and so much more usefull than a medal.
Nice day out for spectators too.
