In short: Pretty muddy
In full: Definitely a race for fell shoes, can be a bit treacherous in places. Shame about the chaos at the start, and could do with some water troughs to clean up in afterwards!

In short: Fun race if you like mud, water and hills.
In full: A very varied course with steep hills, mud, deeply sticky clay, river crossing and a near vertical stair climb. Definitely worth doing.

In short: Addictive
In full: Immense. I'm fairly new to all this but am addicted already. Crowds & marshalls were superb and the adverse weather only added to the sense of achievement when finishing. Steps at end were a bit of a shock.
Can't wait for next year although I wish I knew what footwear to wear as I felt like I was moonwalking at some stages.
Great photo site on the club site also.
