In short: Nice course
In full: Ok course which is in need of some fine tuning, the start line needs to be more clearer and the finish less congested. That aside its a great course once clear of the start. mars bar and a medal at the end plus a PB to cap it all. great day, will be back next year for a better time again!!!

In short: Good Race for a PB. Less than 700 runners therefore nice and relaxed
In full: Good race for a PB. Mostly flat with one hilly bit. One water stop at 5k. Good atmosphere mixed with local May Day festivities. Scenery was a bit boring. Good for first timer racer. Parking was easy and close to the start.

In short: A poor example for the kids
In full: In the 3k Race, no signage, no results, no-one at the finish, had to walk down a boggy lane to get to the start and finish etc.

When we did ask at the (10k) registration about on the day entries (the only type allowed for the 3k), we were very curtly told "outside somewhere". The few marshalls that they did have in the race were abrupt and in the wrong place. There was actually no-one at the finish at all and the winner did not even know where he was supposed to stop! No times/positions were taken and when we enquired about this the advertised "3k Race" had suddently turned into a "Fun Run". This is organised by a fantastic club and the adults' 10k race was up to the usual high standard but sadly the 3k race was very disappointing and unlikely to inspire future generations of runners.

In short: A good way to spend May day
In full: A lovely village race.
For the most part the organisation went well, but the finish was poor. I had to finish a long way short of the line since there were so many people waiting to be processed through the finish. I then watched as a good 20-30 people who clearly finished after me were ushered through before my line was! This aside, a lovely morning and I'll certainly be returning next year.

In short: Good Course, slight problems with the start - I didn't know where it was. last 2km on the path next to a road was a little hard to pass other runners. finish in park was a good touch. parking was my biggest issue...

In short: Good well organised race
In full: One of my favourite 10k races. Well organised and marshalled except for the car parking before the race. Otherwise well done RRR and all the marshalls

In short: Good.
In full: Nothing wrong at all with this one really & well worth the cheap entrance fee.

Difficltu to find any faults really - only ones I had were that I wasn't sure exactly where the start line was & the showers at the end weren't up to much at all.

But still a good day & a course that seemed far quicker than last year, well marshalled along the way. I know the end was in a different place (100 yards further on?) but much of the rest of the course I didn't remember from last year.
