In short: Big city half with superb organisation
In full: Not the pretiest or flatest half, but really slick organisation and well supported. Fast moving toilet queue, civilised start in the pens, coned-off roads kept us safe and cheery marshalls with pom-poms raised a smile, even down Kirkstall Rd (which is not cheery). Well done Leeds Council - worth saving.

In short: It was tough with the hills, but great achievement to finish it! The martials along the route were supportive and cheered the runners on which was really good too.
In full: Really tough with the hills! Definately harder than the GNR! Missed the music along the way but I suppose it's not really viable. Martials along the route were encouraging and supportive, cheering the runners on, which was really nice! And we beat the rain! :-)

In short: Totally biased as I live practically on the course but fantastic challenging race.
In full: Break the course up in to thirds and the first bit is tough - a slow steady incline for the majority of the 4miles. next part is fine but still includes a hill, and the last 4 you will fly. beware the last mile though - it is tough when you have been running like crazy over the last few miles. Great support

In short: Excellent organisation from start to finish
In full: Very well organised. A smooth start helped by three starting pens. Two tough climbs each lasting a mile in the first half but thereafter downhill or flat save for the last few hundred metres. Abundance of well organised feeding stations (water, gatorade, sponges). Great start/finish in the town centre. And perfect weather too!

In short: Improved on last year
In full: The wider route from about 7.5 miles was improved on last years running down the uneven footway to providing a lane in the carriageway.
