In short: Decent course. Pretty flat. Could use more water stations since takes place mid-summer.

In short: A good course for beginners, but not the best day for it!
In full: To give them their dues, it was made very clear that there was only one water station at the 5k mark. yes it was hot and there should have been more, but it's difficult to organise that at short notice. I'm a beginner, and I thought the environment and vibe was great. I finished at the back of the pack and there were still people cheering and giving encouragement. I was never going to get the time I wanted in that heat, and was pleased to finish. I do think there needed to be a bit more education on the field, perhaps notices about potential pitfalls of running in those conditions, and certainly more medical personnel. All in all it was a fab day, and I'mr eally pleased I did it.

In short: Serious water shortage (one water station and 30 degrees!)
In full: Course itself was easy, but too narrow to cope with vast amount of runners. Too many bottlenecks. Water shortage was a serious problem on such a hot day. One water station was not enough and lack of water at the end was criminal!

In short: Badly organised race, weather was 30 degrees plus and they appeared to have run out of water. Runners and even walkers were collapsing with heat exhaustion but there were not enough paramedics on site to help them.
In full: I love 10k races but would not sign up for this one again, and you definitely would never set a personal best here! route is too narrow and you are trapped behind slower runners/walkers.

In short: Not enough water, good atmosphere but not enough water!
In full: Very hot day so looking forward to the water station at 5km - except that when we got there, there wasn't any left. Ran about 6k before water and got a lovely medal at the end, which didn't really help hydrate me. Couldn't find water at the end and there weren't any marshalls to ask. Also, considering it was so hot, there should have been more first aid provision.

In short: It was a very hot day and there were not enough water stops. Overall I felt it was poorly organised.

In short: Very very hot - needed at least one more water station, as people were suffering quite badly. Should have added additional water stations when they saw the weather forecast.
In full: Many many people - could have done with some kind of organisation at the start to put people into vague target times, such as the JPMCC in Battersea Park manages to do for a similar number of people.
Why, oh why, do they issue you with a heavy cotton t-shirt to run in??? In 30C???

In short: Fast, Flat course apart for last 1 KM which is all uphill to the finish. PB potential = Yes
In full: Very hot day, however very enjoyable. Running round the beautiful scenery in Hyde park. Although I have to say that one drink station after 5KM was not really enough for such a hot day and also where the drink station was located, with no shelter from the sun meant that the drink I did pick up was very warm and not very refreshing.

The organization was very friendly and enthusiastic and the medal at the finish was very nicely made as well.

Recommend taking a picnic for after the race, Hyde park is so lovely shame to not make the most of it.

In short: Lack of water when it was so hot was ridiculous - especially at the end of the race - desperately wanted a bottle of water and all they had left were medals! It was far too crowded to be able to get a decent pace going. Hated it!

In short: Only one water station! The heat yesterday justified at least two.
