In short: Challenging but pretty course, excellent marshalls
In full: Excellent organisation. Marshalls were very encouraging and very friendly competitors. Beautiful scenery. Bit disappointed to be stopped to cross one of the roads and would like a medal! But I guess you can't have everything. Will be back again next year!

In short: Great organisation
In full: Excellent organisation and fantastic marshalls throughout the course. Friendly with events for the kids before / after.
Not the flattest of courses but one which is certainly a challenge.

In short: Great route with a few hicups.
In full: I mostly enjoyed this race. It was well organised with good runs for the kids before the parents went off on the 10k. Is a mostly scenic course with some lovely meadows and woods to run through. Good marshalls with plenty of water. A challenging course with some small hills.

The problems lie in the course. I had too walk 4 times which isn't great. Two narrow points - one leaving the main field and one after the wood where you had to squeeze through some posts. The other two were crossing main roads where the police were bloking the traffic but not when I ran through. I had about a minute wait each time. I was trying to help a friend get a PB and get under the hour mark and the waits could have been really annoying. As it happened, he got his PB so all was well.

If you treat this race as one to run and enjoy rather than go for a time, its good.

In short: An enjoyable 10K
In full: Thank you Orpington Runners for a very well organised race. I thoroughly enjoyed it out there today even though I was dressed as Spiderman. The marshalls and crowd were superb and made the difficult parts whistle by.

I would definately recommend this to someone who is looking for a challenging 10K and am hoping to return next year but hopefully without the fancy dress!

Cheers everybody and I also had a lovely burger too so well done to the burger people.

In short: Great family day out
In full: A really beautiful race through woods and fields of flowers - probably the most scenic I have ever done. Lots of pinchpoints near the begining, which forced runners to walk. My children did the 2k fun run, which they loved - and it's much better for them to do that rather than just stand around watching me! So, a great time had by all. We will be back next year.
