In short: Great for my first 10k - fewer hills than I'm used to in training!

In short: Excellent
In full: This was my first ever race so 10k seemed a good starting point. Had read lots on this website about the run and route and found the whole run from the course (very well marshalled) to the whole organisation of the event excellent.
The stadium finish is superb. At the start its a little crowded and you do struggle to get going but once you've found your pace everythings ok.

In short: It's worth the admission price for the stadium finish alone!
In full: After doing this run for a few years now, I can see why it's such a popular race- good looking course, with lots of friendly marshals and familiar faces (I'm a derby lad!!)- didn't get a personal best- but this course does have some quite tight turns in it, which do slow you down, and also there was a large amount of slower runners at the start, which, in the congestion of the first K of the race, does tend to slow things a little. One bugbear- where were the K markers?- I only saw one at 5k and another at 7k - more next time please! For me, it's all about the final 400m though- running through pride park stadium is pure magic, with everybody cheering for you- it really makes teh effort worth it- and for anyone who's ever wanted to try a run, give this one a go- you'll not regret it!
Great T shirt, but car parking took forever- and I got there really early!- and it does get congested getting out of the stadium....but that's just me being picky! Looking forward to next year!!

In short: If want a good 10k to start with, this is a must.
In full: What a great race. Fantastic organisation and a finish in a stadium makes it feel as though you are running at the Olympics. Shame about the km markers - few and far between. Set a new PB, so will be coming again.

In short: Great race all the way
In full: Great race, getting more popular each year, marshalling good with plenty of support all the way round. A great personal best time race managed to knock 8 mins of mine and with the finish inside Pride Park stadium what more could you ask for.

In short: Very enjoyable race!
In full: A really good morning out and about Derby. A mix of city centre, and running by the river with a fantastic finish in Pride Park (home of Derby County FC).

In short: Enjoyable and well organised event
In full: First time at this event and enjoyed it!
Generally well organised with only 'complaints' being the problem getting to the car park (even a hour before start) and the lateness putting up the predicted finish time signs at the start. The latter resulted in many slower runners being too far forward and the inevitable scramble over the first km as the field sorted its self out.
Great finish in stadium and well organised post race.
Will be back.

In short: Yet another fantastic race
In full: This is the third year I've done this race and after not enjoying it last year I eased of a dropped my pace this year and found out once again how enjoyable it was.

The organisation is fantastic and this year the organisers have listened and arrange XL t shirts - always a bugbear.

The only down side was rearranging the exit to the other side of the stadium which seemed to cause greater congestion than normal - but I suppose that could be the increased numbers.

Thanks to the organisers.
