In short: Mud, mud, hills, water, and more mud! and a bit more water too!
In full: I'm sure the mud was extra sticky as my shoes weighed a ton before I got to the water!! Fantastic race, organisation, great marshalls. Great atmosphere and freindly fellow sufferers! Minutes silence and Last Post very moving. I'll be back again!

In short: Fan-Muddy-Tastic
In full: First time for me - and I went with much trepidation. BUT it was FANTASTIC, BRILL, SUPERB!

Never seen a race with sooooooo many marshalls and ALL smiling!!

Atmosphere and friendliness of all fellow nutter cannot be faulted...

Perfect excuse to do what you tell kids not to... Play in the mud and jump in rivers with your clothes on!!

and those hot tubs - inspired! Clean, bubbly ones will never be the same again!!

Organisation, Goody bags, and long sleeved shirt - great! They even managed to book the weather!!!

the remembrance at 11am was a nice humane feel.

When can I register for next year?

In short: What a superb race :o) Fantasic Day :o)
In full: What a run! Highly enjoyable... LOADS of fun muddy bits, excellent marshalls (smiles, encouragement and chatting all round!), superb organisation, wonderful goody bag and a long sleeved t-shirt, FANTASTICALLY friendly bunch of runners, hot tubs at the end, amazing view out towards Bristol/Bath at the top of the hill with the bridge glinting in the sunlight (that could be why I didn't see the bull!), jellybeans and choclate at the water stations, great supporters as well popping up all over the place, showers still hot at the end. I smiled from the start to the finish! What more can I say... can I enter for 2007 now????

It's a shame you have to put down PB potential for this one, as it's such a great social run - deserves 100% for this one!

In short: Promised a dirty weekend......Boy did I get one!
In full: Well done to Bitton RR for hosting the best race I've ever done! Despite my poor time (which I'm blaming on the Cheddar Half day before!) the organisation was first class as were the Marshals; tee shirts; goody bags; Jelly beans; Hot tubs and the all round great atmosphere. Perhaps next year some chilled champagne for the hot tub!

In short: Mud glorious mud and a bit of farmyard essence, and oh how it stuck to the trainers - reckon I had a couple of kilos on each foot before the water! What a great way to spend a Sunday morning. Thank you Bitton RR.
In full: It had a really great atmosphere, everyone smiling and having fun. The pre-race rememberance service was excellent, although I was nowhere near the start when the hooter sounded - a bit more time to get to the road next year? All in all though a fantastic race and very well marshalled with great crowd encouragement especially at the mud bath. Goody bag was excellent and the muddy hot tub ... well just different!
