In short: a lovely race, great marshals who were very encouraging, cant wait for next year!
In full: I love this race cos its on my doorstep, That said it is a very well run race and once you get on the towpath its lovely.

I agree running up the road is a bit boring but the towpath makes up for that.

See you next year ;-)

In short: Fast, flat, well-marshalled and PB potential
In full: Couldn't get a better chance for a PB (weather permitting) - fast & flat - event well marshalled and marked (incl. km markers). Disagree with previous comments re: medals - the idea of G/S/B is great but medal itself a bit naff - just a diff. of opinion I'm sure (and the fact I'm sulking as I only got bronze!!)

Only other comment was that, as a joe average runner this felt very clubby and might put some off but, given they are oversubscribed as such not really a problem - one upside is that you can tag onto a club runner and they don't slow down all that much to the finish line!! (thanks whoever it was from Lingfield who came in around 46m 30s)

In short: Very good (as usual).
In full: Can't fault the organisation - well done on all aspects! Can fault my performance in the clammy conditions! Another pb attempt bites the dust - Hey ho! Still, at least it wasn't 32decC heat!

In short: Very well organised race
In full: I agree with one of the previous comments that the first 5km isnt that scenic but the back 5km along the river bank was great, a nice flat course, well marshalled and well supported, plenty of parking, nice medal too...well done to all involved.

In short: Fast course, not much to look at on the 1st half but the 2nd half along the Towpath was fine
In full: The start was a bit chaotic but the course was well marshalled and I think the rain get the pedestrians away from the route

In short: fast, flat and a lovely second half along the tow path
In full: Great PB potential (I got one!) and the rain was welcome. My impressions as a first-timer here were that this is a very well established race attracting all the local clubs with a fine course that makes fast times likely. Because of this no extra effort is made re info for changing/parking/welcoming of newbies etc. The information however was all provided with the race number, and the marshalls were excellent. It did however feel a bit "in the know" when you arrived. Next year I shall park nearer and join the "in the know" majority!

In short: A flat and fast course with a lot of fast club runners...A "race of two halfs" with the outward road 5km and back along the Towpath
In full: The light rain made the running very pleasant and the slightly down hill first 5 km on the road allowed a good pace to be had albeit with little scenery. The second half back along the towpath took the mind off the effort. Definitely a race of "Two Halfs".

While not a PB for me, the time was respectable and I did enjoy the run out (I did a fast 6 miler on Friday so could expect too much). Nice medals (1st 100 get gold, second hundred get silver and the remainder get bronze). Good value race with good marshalling. Fair points on signs for the start but we did have a Map to show where Parking and Start was. Will definite do it again next year

In short: Surely one of the best organised 10K runs on the circuit, and this year achieved without the sports centre as an HQ. Cool, damp conditions. Good field of runners. Very nice medal. I will be back next year!
