In short: A great first half marathon to start of the running year
In full: I always look forward to this event as its well organised, challenging & well marshalled. I also think that having the tented village for the 1st time was far better than the facilities previously offered.
A medal would be appreciated though.

In short: Found this one so hard but its there to challenge us with those hills
In full: I felt depressed after this one as I had worked hard on training and was 6 mins out from my average time but not the worse time this year so really cant complain... . found it so challenging as i didnt anticipate the steep inclines and hills. But was please i managed to get round.

Noticed some of the complaints here where a bit mean to be honest. I thought the organisation was excellent, the marshalls lovelly and encouraging. I have been on other half marathons where u get one or two water stations! this had three and a sponge one and a nice lady giving out jellies ! i would have liked to have a medal for such a well planned and executed race.

In short: Love this race but where oh where were the water staions this year?
In full: Love doing this race as a great way to break in the new year. On this occasion though I would have to ask where oh where were all the water stations? Have the cut backs that we've all been suffering taken their toll on the Watford Harriers too. Last year we had excessive use of Galtorade being handed out and this year there was nowt. I turned up thinking I wouldn't need to bother with gels etc, oh how wrong I was. By half way round I was suffering as all I had seen up to this point was one lousy basic water stop and nothing more than that, not even squash. C'mon Watford Harriers you can do better than this!!

In short: Windy.com
In full: 4th running of this - a good way to kick start the year. Organisation as good as ever, but if I was being picky I would have liked 1 more water station.

Would prefer a 'Technical' t shirt or a medal over the cotton t shirt, but still a great race.

In short: Nice course, don't know why everyone told me watch out for hills, a few upslopes but nothing that I would say over challenging

In short: Great marshalls and local support, good largely rural course (although tough) mostly traffic free. Lousy goody bag though.

In short: Good run - bit annoyed about no race pack and few water stations
In full: The Watford Half is a really nice run and all in all the marshals and staff are really welcoming. I was a bit annoyed that the Race HQ details were not changed on the website and I did not get my race pack in the post so pre-race was a bit stressful.

PLEASE have more water stations at the start and this race needs a medal - really important for me!!

In short: Can we have marquees every year?
In full: Well organised race thank you. Much preferred marquees and they kept us warm before start. No queuing for loos, info and water. Supportive marshals. Thanks
