In short: Well organised rural run, appreciate all the closed roads
In full: A good first 1/2M for the year - ideal chance to see how the winter training has been going. It will never be an all time favourite, being in early Feb. This year the weather was glorious but this has not always been the case. My view is that "undulating" is a fair description - there are hills but no really steep or long ones (like Marlow eg). Suggestions for the future: 1)Extra bag drop in park for those who don't want to walk all the way to race HQ 2)Only one big blue inflatable at the actual finish.

In short: Great race, friendly marshalls and crowd, unfriendly hills
In full: Really enjoyable course, great atmosphere, well marshalled, hills a challenge but made it interesting. One gripe - I saw a moan about the 20 minute queue for the ladies toilets - well, it was the same for the men!
