In short: Despite running a dissapointing 3.26 on a fast course, this was a very well organised event in a beautiful place and one to definitely put on the callendar. Organisation and marsshalling was excellent. Great atmosphere. 10/10. Highly recomended.

In short: a great first marathon
In full: had a good time. lots of support along the way. small numbers so the slower end of the group (including me in 4.29 ) people were running quite alone at the end but it was a pretty route and thankfully really flat.

In short: what a great race, well supportive marshalls, plenty of water stations, very well organised and a great stadium finish, brilliant
In full: First time I've run a marathon that wasn't the FLM !! and I will definitely come back here again. Most supportive marshalls I've ever met with the possible exception of Brian Porters Freckleton classic. Very nice 2 lap route, about as flat as you can get, very well organised and I did love that stadium finish. Big thankyou to all the organisers , marshalls who without exception cheered and clapped you on, thanks guys and gals you did a magnificent job

In short: very well organised, great marshalling.
In full: ok, the scenery on this run is nothing to right home about but the marshalling all the way round was in my opinion top class.
flat course so pb's very possible and an excellent start/finish area. plenty of nice touches to the day and a lovely cup of tea and some biscuits at the finish.
massive thank-you and congratulations to
EVERYONE who made this event so worthwhile.
marshalls, you were fantastic.

In short: Great race, big PB potential - will be back....
In full: Really well organised marathon, helped by near perfect conditions. Good organisation and good size of field. One and only slight criticism was there was no route maps sent with race pack or available on day.

In short: A very well put together race
In full: This is a very well put together race on more than one level, the start/finish venue is par excellence. Shelter, warm loos, OH so hot showers, tea and coffee, and a great position for watching the finishers doing their lap of honour to finish. The course is flat with the exception of the massive hill at the subway at mile 24, also very twisty in places, marshalls were for the most part very good and friendly, however on the 2nd lap i think some of them had lost heart. A deffo one for a PB, though sadly not for me this time. One for the calender next year.

In full: Unfortunately I seemed to be one of a few front runners that feel short in the "great marshals" comments. having been sent the wrong way at mile 22.5 adding a mile after realising and getting back on track, I then fell in the town, literally, when a beer rat youth decided to trip me over! not a fun morning!

In short: Pretty good all-round
In full: Flat and reasonably scenic. Good atmosphere at the race HQ and more support on the course than I expected.
Only problem was at a marshalling point where some people went the wrong way (where the course split for another lap or back to the finish).
