In short: Excellently organised, flat and mainly scenic race
In full: Helped this year that the weather was great, no wind, bit chilly to start but nice and sunny later.

Marshalls and organisation was great, no problems at all.

Pretty flat course, few very slight inclines, quite a bit of nice scenery though a few bits through offices etc.

Overall - great, would think about doing again.

In short: I love this race. It gets better and better
In full: Thank you to everyone involved in making this such an inspiring and memorable event once again. It's a grade-A, fur-lined, ocean-going belter.

In short: Excellent organisation, great marshalls and superb drink stations
In full: Thank you to everyone who contributed to this event, everything went smoothly from start to finish. It's a pity there weren't more people supporting out on the course, but those that were there were really encouraging.
The course is very flat and I managed a PB, which I was really pleased with, it did hurt though! Was thankful for a post race massage to get me back in to a condition where I could walk again.
I thought the event was good value for money, with a medal, proper running t-shirt and a solid goody bag.

In short: Great race and excellent marshalls
In full: Thanks again to the marshalls, seemed to be hundreds of them all encouraging and looking out for your safety. Nice scenic course and great little goodie bag, all useful. Would do again.

In short: absolutely fantastic
In full: one fo the best marathons I have run, not too big but plenty of supporters, the odd bottle neck but if your in the right group it wont matter too much. plenty of water stations and cheerful marshalls. absolutely fantastic race cant recommend it high enough. the only possible addition might be some vaseline in the second loop I carried my own but can imagine it might be an unexpected problem which might end someones race prematurely and they could be saved the heartache if an angel appeared brandishing a smear of the gooey stuff :-) well done all those involved .

In short: Flat course, well supported and marshelled - High PB potential
In full: Well organised start and finish area - really enjoyed the last lap around the track and the stadium support. Course is flat with a few long inclines but nothing to challenge the majority of runners. Support is patchy but those that do turn-out are full of energy and really encouraging. The marshelling is excellent and there are more than enough yellow hi-vis vests along the length of the course to ensure everyone is well looked after and directed. The last mile into the stadium is a little lonely but the final track lap makes it worth the effort. Goody bag isn't bursting with gifts but thankfully it has been put together by people who actually run - that Mar's Bar was very much appreciated and the free t-shirt is dry-fit and so perfect for those future training runs... well done Abindgon Marathon organisers - one of the best races I've experienced.
