In short: Tough and challenging course but all the more rewarding for completing it! Would highly recommend!
In full: Fantastic organisation all round from preperation to the actual event and afterwards. The BBQ afterwards was a nice touch!
Excellent T-Shirt, loving the retro design.
Hard course but let's face it - that's why it's not called the "Pic-nic in the Park Ten". Even so quite possibly one of my favourite ever race routes.
I'll be back next year for the 30th anniversary race for sure!

In short: Challenging but not too much for a slow "unattached" amateur like me as long as you are not ashamed to be at the back. Excellent last warm up for the Great North Run. Lovely pub at the end with real ale and bbq available. Good atmosphere all round
In full: Special mention for the race marshalls who were friendly without being patronising.

In short: Out of my depth!!
In full: The race was well organised with plenty of marshalls. I had obviously not done my homework and it came as a real surprise on the day that this was going to be such a challenging run. I thought Lincolnshire was flat!. I found the course too taxing although. I must say a big thank you to a wonderful lady who had completed the run and jogged back up the big hill to encourage people to keep going. She did spur me on to get running down the hill.

In full: A great race, challenging course, well marshalled, very welcoming host club, cheap to enter by todays standards.Just one or two complaints, plastic cups at the water stations ,hard to drink from, and then another water station four miles from the finish, most people who were running with my girlfriend were gagging for water later on,and dissapointed to see a drinks ahead sign near to the eight mile marker, but for some inexplicable reason no water.I would be prepared to pay extra money to run this event, especially if it meant a t shirt at the end ,instead of a rather meaningless cup as a souvenir for my efforts.Almost a perfect race, but not quite.
