In short: Another superbly orgainsed race by TWH despite the challenging weather
In full: First class organisation from Race HQ to the finish line. Despite the very challenging weather the marshalls were enthusiastic and plenty or local support all the way round.

Enjoyed the race but was glad to finish! Excellent goody bag at the end and bag reclaim was the most efficient yet - well done

In short: Fantastic despite the conditions
In full: Excellent race, very well orgnised and great fun to run despite the torrential rain and flooding! Well worth doing and will definitely do again. The marshalls were especially good.

In short: It's been over 12 hours since the start, and I'm still on a high from it all!
In full: What to say that hasn't already been said? After my first half last autumn, the first words out of my mouth were "never again!" After today, the first words were "who can I call and tell them how amazing this was?!"

Couldn't see much of the scenery in the first few miles, thanks to the cloud cover, but thought about how gorgeous it must be at other times. As the clouds lifted a bit I was able to really appreciate the view though.

I don't know if the insane weather actually made this more enjoyable and added to the camaraderie, but I found everyone very friendly and encouraging. Including the runners who were heading home as I was running to the finish!

I was at the back of the pack, but still felt supported throughout the entire race. To have people cheering out of their cars as they went by was a nice boost. (Except for those few cars who caused tidal waves as we were already slushing through ankle deep water) Can't say enough about the amazing marshalls, traffic patrols, and the community support!

Appreciated getting to choose my t-shirt size at the end, and not getting stuck with a random one since I was a later finisher.

Also, I feel slightly invincible after conquering "the hill," even though I felt like I was running upstream!

In short: Terrible weather, mean hills but so well organised and beautiful I've forgotten the pain already
In full: So well organised and such lovely marshals and supportive community, I quickly forgot about the rain. Really appreciatated it starting on time, the drum band and the road closures ensuring we were all safe. I found the hills challenging but still managed a PB somehow. Dame Kelly Holmes patted me (and everyone else) on the back after I finished, which made my day and the oranges were delicious. What more could you want...

In short: Whoever says running in this weather is mad....... Clearly haven't met the marshalls!!!
In full: Now that was 1 fun morning.... Apart from THE HILL...

Great organisation, great public support and marshall encouragement and so much better than just an out and back 1/2 marathon.

Excellent work TWH, and fair play to Kelly Holmes for not just starting the race and jogging off home... (Like some NAMES would). Great to see her encouraging everyone over the finish!!!

In short: Kent's finest?
In full: It was wet, cold and there were two decent hills in the middle. The February rain had caused flooding on the route sometimes 8-9 inches, exacerbated by cars on the other side of the road causing waves! Great goody bag: tech t-shirt and a medal and some tasty nibbles.
Great race, possibly the best road half of the 50+ that I've done.
Best bit was being greeted at the end of the funnel with a smile by Dame Kelly Holmes - possibly our loveliest national treasure.
The organisers and cheerful marshals did a fantastic job. See you next year when the weather will be much better.

In short: You absolutely MUST do this race!
In full: First and foremost a MASSIVE thank you to all the marshalls (and there seemed to be hundreds of them) for standing out in the sometimes torrential rain and supporting everyone. Beautiful scenery and a challenging, hilly course, yet despite the weather and flooded roads took 6 MINUTES off of my P.B ! Incredibly well organised race, that went like clockwork... Congratulations to Tunbridge Wells Harriers, i'll definitely be back next year... just pray for better weather !

In short: Wet and Wonderful
In full: A big thanks to all marshalls who encouraged us all in the rain. And a big big thanks to the Legend Dame Kelly Holmes to welcome every runner at the finish. A true star.
Well organized, good local support again. Well done T Wells Harriers.
