In short: More of an experience than a race. I have now 'done' London. Brilliant week end, I will never forget it.

In short: Superb day, excellent support from both crowds & runners. Finish area went a bit wrong though - jammed!

In short: The Organisation, Crowds and runners taking part in this race are what make it so special. No one I would say can beat the well run precision that this event is run with. So many humbling people who take part.
In full: I know the Club/Real Runners hate us Fun Runners/Charity Runners but really this is what London is all about. The Club Runners have the ability to be out at the start and therefore we fun runners should not be hindering their progress. I am not sure of the amounts raised for Charity but above all else this is what makes it so special.

In short: Another great London Marathon. Only complaint was lack of sponges that had been on offer in previous years, especially since it was fairly warm. Amazing crowds.

In short: Wow! the spectators were very very good this year and so many of them.
In full: This race needs to be bottled, the buzz the whole day gives is fantastic.
One slight observation was the repatriation area became so cramped later on it was becoming uncomfortable for runners and spectators alike. Even trying to leave the area became difficult, maybe it was just the size of the crowds.

In short: My first marathon. Loved the distance, but the cramped conditions made it too frustrating to do again.

In full: Fabulous day, brilliant weather, tough going in the sun. Hard to fight your way through the other runners but hey, it's the London Marathon! Spectators fantastic-wish they could be at every race!
