In short: Really enjoyable race....
In full: Organisation on the day was excellent but beforehand was p**s poor!! Get a website to keep runners updated. Post chips out with numbers instead of making us all turn up an hour before in the freezing cold!!

Thanks to all the fantastic marshalls though!!!

In short: Lovely route, tough in places.
In full: The weather conditions made this course very tough. Why was it a week later than usual this year. Great marshalling! Pity they ran out of "Goodie Bags" for the later runners.

In short: great route, most enjoyable
In full: the weather was pants.
there was far too much hanging around in the frezing rain and wind (there were loads of people huddled together in a tent like emperor penguins- I wasn't allowed in!)

it is a good course though and 5miles into it, I started to enjoy it immensely. good local support.

will be back again next year

In full: first time, but not the last. the weather was depressing but did not spoil the run. set my pb buy 40 seconds which was set in this years great north, which I allways thought a little hilly. this seemed undulating but looking back Iwould call it interesting, no straight boring roads. crowds were good considering the weather, more than enough water stations and organisation was excellent. thought the finish at the ruuning track was very uplifting. if brendon foster reads this then give us a t-shirt in the great north that we can wear to run in, cos thats what we are, runners!!!!
