In short: Excellent support and organisation
In full: Well done Hastings for being the best! Great support, superb organisation but the tent could do with in and out doorways.

In short: Bring on the hills!
In full: This 1/2 has confirmed that I'm a hill monster! Going up is an awesome challenge and coming down (if I wasn't still gasping for air) I would have gone WEEEEEE! Brilliant local support, very challenging course and legs are trashed but had fun! The sea-front flat was the hardest bit it just kept going and going and going...

In short: A parking nightmare spoilt this race!
In full: Despite arriving nearly an hour ahead of the start we were stuck in the traffic unable to park. Only just made the start thanks to a mile long warm up sprint!Loads of others were in a similar position. Lovely support on the challenging course.

In short: It's a good, well organised, well supported challenging event.
In full: For a race that's been voted number one so many times it has a few opprotunities. I went down to run the race with afriend who lives locally and the race route lived up to expectations. The organisation at the start, finish, baggage and loos left a lot to be desired. Start was chaotic with an early tight harpin into a hill and clearly many people were in the wrong zone. Having stood in the right pen, I was not overtaken by many but passed hundreds and finished in predicted time. We did not hear the start gun but just felt the movement and saw the clock ticking. There were enough water stations but the tables etc were not long enough, especially the first and could be missed. The crowd support was fantastic on a glorious day for running and spectating. Nice touches at the end with the scouts pouring out hot tea and there was water but the marshalling to and control of these was non existent. I know it's a charity focussed event but a souvenir horse brass, no goody bag but with the opportunity to buy a martingale for your brass and t-shirts at £18 I felt was a bit steep. It is a great event, well supported but I would not put it in my top five halves and does not score for me on value for money.

In short: early misgivings but first class local support all around track made for great day..apart from anal grumblings below..
In full: gave myself loads of time to pitch up but almost missed gun. A big event getting bigger. More space needed?? People putting themselves at front then walking after half a mile. But the support all around, especially in outlying villages....worth the trip on its own. Bands, trumpets and air horns?? Superb!! I drip like a pig in all conditions so sun actually a treat

In short: Great support, good organisation, lovely course
In full: All a bit of a rush at the start after spendng ages finding somewhere to park. Start area very crowded and lots of slow runners starting far too near the front. Spent the first 2 miles having to run past lots of people, even including people walking up the first hill who must have started in the 90 minute area! But once we hit Queensway it all sorted itself out. Sunny weather was nice, and made the sea breeze on the seafron feel welcome. Loads of support, especially at the 6 mile point. Great organisation at finish with mugs of tea and results pinned up on the bus within 5 minutes. And a big PB as well - excellent!
