In short: Slightly undulating - always cold!!
In full: A regular in the calendar - my 8th time there, so I guess it qualifies as a secial race. Pity they can't measure the last mile correctly. In 2004, it was right for the first time, now its back to 1.11 miles!!

In short: Great race, lovely route, with a few hills thrown in for fun
In full: Very cold day but the hilly route kept me warm. Marshals very encouraging - a big thank you to them for braving the horrible weather. Nice hat to keep you warm as a momento. Will be back next year

In short: A big thank you to all the marshalls as it was bitterly cold out there! Your support was well appreciated. Not overkeen on the memento but thats just a personal thing for me.
In full: Well done to everyone involved with the race. Bitterly cold conditions yet all the marshalls still encouraged us all on!

In short: A nice friendly run with some challenging hills especially at the end. Not sure about the final straight, lots of runners being impeded by people ambling up the not-very-wide entrance to the Football club. But overall a good, friendly race.

In short: Spoilt by the weather, otherwise good.
In full: This was generally well organised and marshalled on quiet country lanes with pretty views...on a clear day, which this wasn't! Undulating throughout, with some steeper climbs when you would least expect. Directions to car parking (and the start line)could be much clearer, but the woolly hat at the end made a welcome change from the usual medal. Ironic the goodie bag, given to promote the local council's recycling campaign, contained no less than three pieces of paper which will doubtless be discarded in the nearest bin!

In short: Why wasn't there a medal? who really wants a woolly hat? goody bag was not good.
In full: Directions not very good. Car parking was dismal, it would have helped if there was the opportunity to leave bags in a secure area perhaps with a ticket system as we were very very cold on return and the car was parked too far away. People were friendly. Marshals were good & very encouraging . Refreshments could be orgainised better as there was a long queue and a wait for coffees as they ran out of hot water. However I would consider this run again.

In short: The hills were tough for me. The weather was horribly cold and wet. The people were friendly and the course well marked and organized. I was a bit bummed that there wasn't a t-shirt for finishers or at least have one for sale. Nice knit cap given
