In short: my first race ever!! what an experience.
In full: I would like to thank the lady marshal that took me to the end, yes i was the last person but felt very proud to finish, every one was very encouraging, especially those fast ones who overtook us on their second lap, our first. what an achievement. a very friendly and encouraging atmosphere. thank you all

In short: Well organised but could do with a clock at the finish
In full: The race was well organised & marshalled and good as part of a training programme, but needs a clock at the race finish & better signs for toilets. Very challenging hill!

In short: My 3rd race as a novice and definately the hardest!
In full: I knew 'the hill' would be bad after running downhill for so long at the start - I had no idea that it would be that tough though! Still, a fantastic mornings workout - I really felt that I'd achieved something when I crossed the finish line - I'll definately be back next year - hopefully with a better finish time as well!

In short: great, tough race
In full: My first ever race and what a tough choice it was. That hill really knocked the stuffing out of me (twice!) -but I'll be back. Never having done a race before I have nothing to compare it with but I must say the marshalling seemed suberb -Well done Crowborough Runners.

In short: What goes down comes back up (twice)
In full: This was supposed to be my home town race, but that anther story! Even though I know the local area, I still got caught out by the steepness of the hill up Palesgate. To do it twice was a really killer. Despite the hills and the fact that I arrived late & didn’t have time for a warm up, I was still quite pleased was my finishing time.

A special mention for the organisation of the race, which was very well marshalled. I don’t think I’ve ever seen as many marshals before on a half marathon course before let alone a 10K.

In short: One Big Hill
In full: I never want to see a hill like that again.
Once is enough but to have to go up it twice.
Lovely run though and well organised
