In short: thought the wave starts a brilliant idea
In full: unlike others I thought the waves were vaguely time sorted and worked well (for an orange) only gripe is that route map was difficult for my loyal supporter to work out how to get to various parts of the course

In short: A great run in a great location....with no hills!
In full: Despite falling off my bike on the way to the train station, this was the most enjoyable race I have experienced, despite injury and illness in the last few weeks. The flat course was a welcome change from the recent Great North Run, and the atmosphere was great. Definitely doing it next year! I hope it doesn't turn into a race the size of the GNR as I think it becomes a logistical nightmare. Everything was so much more straightforward. I agree that the wave starts worked very well, and the chip timing is so much better than relying on my watch which has failed me twice in recent races. Top marks

In short: 10 out of 10 for the wave starts and time chip
In full: I love this race and was worried as it is getting big that i would have wasted my money. Fear not the wave start and time chipping meant that i could go for a fast PB, did that took off 7 minutes from last year. Will do this again, but they need to keep the wave start and the time chipping.

In short: A very enjoyable, positive experience. It's just a shame Portsmouth is not very scenic.

In short: Worth the experience
In full: This is a race that I wanted to do just the once, like GNR, purely for the experience of running such a large event.
The '3 wave' starts worked really well...I don't know why they didn't do the same at GNR!
The support was brilliant and the goody bags were up to the usual high standard.
I was lucky enough to be able to walk to the start as I was staying with a friend, but if you drove in you had to put up with the very slow exit....but that's to be expected from such a large event.
The only reason for me not doing it again is that I only wanted to do it the once, and as I had such a good race I don't feel the need to go back and put right.
