In short: Excellent race, brilliant support, just runied by the parking
In full: Always an good race with loads of support and nice and flat for good times. Hard last two miles with headwind but good views instead! Just ruined by the awful parking as usual. Parked on the common and took 2 hours to get out. Parking stewards were worse than useless and the route they funnelled us through was ridiculous - why were we being directed down a one lane road to a T-junction??? Won't be doing it again, which is a pity, for this reason.

In short: Nice event
In full: First time here and enjoyed it. Very well supported all of the way round..so many bands & cheers. Great views of the sights of Portsmouth & runners around the course. The sting in the tail is the last two miles...but you can`t have it that easy. I`ll be back.

In short: PRILENT
In full: One point can Portsmouth Council meet Bupa one-way to ask for more Barriers or Fencing because People like to run or walk across the road while runner can't even stop for them because we in danger of our safety.I hope those crowds you do it get struck off by the Marshalls or Bupa?

I be back next Year-20th anniversey 2010

In short: This was my first ever event and what an event it was! Superb, even though the wind over the last two miles was a killer!

In short: Dockyard Dash
In full: First time for this event for me but I'm already signed up for next year. Just getting back to fitness after 3 months of back problems I was realistic with which wave to be in, but was surprised to find myself passing lots of early-wavers within a mile. Are some people hopelessly optimistic or am I one of the few honest people? Wind wasn't really a problem, but then I live on the coast so its always windy. The crowd were special, cheering all the way round, the charity cheerleaders were great, and the bands [especially the drummers] terrific. Everyone friendly - I'll be back!

In short: A very special race in a special city
In full: While I look forward to my first London marathon next year, so far this race is second to none (Abingdon marathon good to). The organisation is quite supurb, tens of thousands of enthusiastic supporters line the course, while yet more tens of thousands are raised for worthy causes. Being at the event with the best group of club mates you will find was just the icing on the cake. Thanks to the good people of Pompy, EVERYONE involved in the organising of the event. & the best club in the world, Isle of Wight Road Runners.

In short: Atmosphere
In full: This is the 3rd year on the trot that I have run this race and the first time it has not rained, and I loved the whole experience
I found the atmosphere electric out on the course – The bands and the crowds were buzzing.
The charity runners got amazing cheers from the charity cheerleaders.
Went to some of the pre-race training sessions run by “race ready” and Alexander Sports and had been given a pass to the Nike recovery cube – a nice way to recover!
Loved the PowerAde, hated the parking but I know what I am going to do next year
