In short: Really well organised race In full: This was my first ever 10 mile run and I completed it in just under 1 hour 30. Very well organised race, very enjoyable and great marshalls. Just wish that there had been a few more loos beforehand. But well done to all involved. Date of review: February 20, 2011

In short: The reasons why I loved Bramley 20 miles were ................... In full: I know it’s early days but so far Bramley 20 miles road race has been the highlight of my year.
The reasons why I loved Bramley 20 miles were: • The laughing Police man (Nice Sergeant) • Plenty of toilets • Friendly Marshals • Great Organisation • Lucozade Sports Company • Friendly Runners (Especially the gentleman who got my bag from the tent) THANKS!
Nice bum bag – err it’s not my cup of tea. Now what do the Americans call bum bag? Oh yes, ha, ha, haa if I print that I would be reported to the Runners World Moderator.
Well done Reading Road Runners. Even though I think this was a painful run – worst than Luton Marathon. Many runners actually waited for me at the finish and were extremely friendly. That really moved me –emotionally.
That's why I love Bramley 20 miles and why you are also are my favourite race for 2010.

In short: A good race, but very disappointed with the guy selling the mugs In full: Good race, but I will not do it again or any event for Reading Roadrunners where Jonathan (Personalised Event Merchandise) is involved.
I paid $12.00 + postage for a mug with my race time printed on it and despite contacting him a few times, I have received aboslutely nothing more than 1 month after the race - very disappointed Date of review: March 20, 2010

In short: perfectly good training run if up for a marathon soon! In full: Pleasant route with little traffic, gently undulating. Really good experience if you've got a place in the Shakespeare Marathon, Stratford, as they both involve two laps! I used this as a training run for Edinburgh, and as such I found it very useful "Training miles in the bank". Highly recommended; will do it again next year Date of review: February 24, 2010

In short: Well marshalled, nice course. In full: The course would have quick had my legs not ached from the previous day's cross country race. Well marshalled and policed. Plenty of drink stations. Only gripe not enough loos at the start. One question though, where were these bumbags? I never saw any. I collected my sweatshop carrier bag and my Goodness Shakes drinks (which was very tasty and well thought out by the organisers). May be back next year. Next year I hope it doesn't clash with anything else that weekend. I have enough medals how about a mug or drinks bottle for next year. Date of review: February 23, 2010

In short: An enjoyable day In full: Ran this as my first 20 in prep for VLM. Although I was at the back, with some other first timers, I really enjoyed it. The course is slightly undulating but not too hideous. The marshals were absolutely fabulous - friendly, supportive and sometime humourous. Water station staff too were brilliant. Big round of applause to the organisers. Date of review: February 23, 2010

In short: PB with snow before the race then rain, hills, wind and a turn in temperature - great Sunday morning! In full: I am sure the course was more hilly, more uphill, colder with more wind on the 2nd lap but hey who cares with a PB two months before the London Marathon!
It was disappointing the race started late (no time for a massage after with it being Valentines day) but everything else seemed to run like clockwork.
If you are doing a marathon in April or May, Id really recommend this race in 2011....mainly as you wont get a bum bag again next year!!! Date of review: February 21, 2010
