In short: Fantastic race. Fast and pretty flat course with a good mixed field. Will be back next year. In full: Really nice race with a good mix of abilities & good varied terrain underfoot. Little bit quiet out on the course but some encouragement as runners passed in opposite directions for the out & back course. Good PB potential if you're a trail runner. In short: Great offroader on lovely course with fab atmosphere. In full: My 7th appearance in this out of 8 years and will be back again as long as my legs are willing. Many thanks to my fellow runner for all the encouragement and to the marshals and organisers for doing a simply splendid job. May I add that the associated kids' 2km fun run was massively enjoyed by my daughters (aged 8 and 10). Date of review: September 22, 2013
In short: A wonderful race organised by a dedicated soul! In full: How I love Ashtead common! To take part in an organised run there is manna from heaven. I admire Rob for his dedication and hard work he puts into this event - I am saddened to hear that some runners did not show appreciation for his efforts. Date of review: September 22, 2013
In short: Even better this year... In full: Dr Rob delivers another classic. I ran the whole of this race with a huge smile on my face. Clockwork organisation, brilliant marshals, a beautiful route even the first aid team came out to cheer us on. Thank You.
This race has the benefits of a low key event with as much 'frills and fancy' as you could ever want. Loved it. Well done Dr Rob and all who helped make it a great race. Date of review: September 22, 2013
