In short: A Little unorganised, plus more loos needed
In full: A good run with PB potential apart from the wind at the far end of the track!

In short: Problem with the 'year' drop down list ....
In full: If you have rated this race in 2009 already (August) you can not re-select 2009 as it doesn't appear in the list ??? This message will have 2007 against it as I had to use the 2008 year !

In short: Great weather, made it worth getting up for !
In full: Fairly local race being only 25 miles or so from where I live so despite the poor weather I made the effort (last November I satyed in bed !). 2nd time I have run this course, pb'd in August and amazingly, again today .... probably because I didn't want to be out in the rain for long!
Organisation is ok although ditto for the loos. Car parking so close to the race means that you can arrive late and leave quickly so it doesn't screw the rest of your day up. Only real negative was the wind on the back straight which was even stronger than in August.

In short: Generally good, with one major issue
In full: Let's start with the good bits. In general this is a really good event, well organised and efficient. Running on a racetrack was a novelty.
Normally I have no time for runners who moan aboput a lack of toilets, and think that they'd be better off directing their energies towards getting there in reasonable time. However, when you're travelling for an hour to the race 'coordinating' bodily functions is hit and miss, and provision is needed. In summary, there was ONE toilet for the 150 odd blokes in the race (badly signed too, with several 'false' signs). As a result I endured a massively uncomfortable last 3km where I had to virtually walk and any hope of a decent time disappeared.
This isn't an excuse - my own lack of fitness was the main reason for a disappointing time. However, such complete lack of provision is simply not good enough, especially at a circuit like this where facilities should have been plentiful

In short: Head wind prevented a pb run! (That's my excuse and I'm sticking to itt)
In full: Good organisation. Shame about the wind. It was the only negitive on the day. Everything else went smoothly!!

In short: 3 lap course of circuit so pretty dull but PB potential if it wasn't for the wind
In full: Quite a bottle-neck in getting race number and chip - could have done with more people doing this. And more loos required - there are lots there but the majority were locked up!

Sweets at finish were a nice touch and well done to race director for starting race slightly early so we didn't get too cold / wet!

In short: Well organised, nice surface to run on, a shame that the wind was belting down the back straight. If only the organisers could have sorted that out......
