In short: The Best
In full: This was my first Half marathon. But thanks to the encouragement from the marshals it made the race feel alot easier. There encouragement helped when i thought on occasions to give up. The goody bag was fantastic the beanie hat was a great idea and the banana was the best i've had in ages.
Thank you to those that put all the hard work into making this event very memorable.

In short: Flat fast course
In full: Just love my new Beaney hat, I won a spot prize of 2 pairs of excellent Nike socks, the marshalls were great, bottles of water with a lid during the race. Just wish I was fitter as I am sure I would have broken my PB!

In short: Fast and beautiful run - chilly though!
In full: My first time on this legendary flat course - which was tougher than I expected mostly due to cold weather as opposed to the odd undulation. The scenery is great and it was nice to see so far in front. Spectators were sparse but were like marshalls super friendly and encouraging which is appreciated by relative novices like me. Parking is simple, chip timing is appreciated and post race munchies on sale great. Personally I am new to running races still so I would have much preferred a medal - I have loads of beanies!
