In short: Worth it for the view at the top!..
In full: I'm sure that there is a much shorter and easier route to the top, but where is the fun in that?.. Really enjoyed the stretch out this year, just as tough as before, but the weather was kind to us. Sunny with a lot of dappled shade through the woods with even a shower just as we were finishing to cool ourselves down...

I would recommend this race to people who want a good morning out, away from the traffic, along some very nice, sandy trails, but look out for the cyclists. Not too muddy this year either. :-)

In short: Brilliant work out in the glorious Surrey hills
In full: Really nice challenging (but not impossibly hard) run through glorious countryside. I loved this and appreciated the support of the other runners and marshalls/drinks station crews. Only gripe was with the zooned out ipod wearing runners who weren't always aware of other runners

In short: It's tough!
In full: I loved it overall though. It does what it says on the tin. Some long inclines, some steep ones on stoney paths, superb views if the sweat in your eyes allows you to see them, and overall a real test of resolve and stamina. Uplifting stuff.
