In short: What hills? Nicely undulating I'd say. Very friendly and well-organised. I'd definitely do this again.

In short: Jolly good fun!
In full: First race of 2010 for me, and a nice way to get back into things. A nice course (lots of pleasant scenery, although as others have commented, the first mile is along a rather narrow, potholed stretch of road), with some fairly testing hill climbs along the first half of the route. Overall, very pleasant - and a sunny day too!

In short: Don't know why I love this race but I do.
In full: Its an odd distance (12k), its got a few testing hills but there's something about this event I like very much. Weather always seams to be cold and sunny (lucky again this year). Large number of runners means you've always got someone to compete against. Good local feel, good organisation and excellent prize list going down to first 5 + vet categories going up in 5's. Not that I got anything! I'll keep training. 1 minor gripe was the baggage store - great idea to take clothes bags from start to finish but need a bit more security rather than just 'grab your own' on retrieval. Wouldn't stop me from doing it again tho. Well done Stratford AC.

In short: Great start to the New Year as always
In full: Such an enjoyable race. I don't know how Stratford AC manage to conjure up perfect weather for this race so often, but after all the snow it was simply a pleasure to be out running in the sun in lovely scenery, with encouraging and plentiful marshalls and a really friendly atmosphere. Thanks to all involved

In full: Well organised- Thanks for all the emails.
Slight concern about why you had to delay by 5mins.
Not the best memento at the end of the race, as have 5 of these already.

In short: A pleasant run through rolling Warwickshire countryside.
In full: Overall a very enjoyable race. The first km or so is on a narrow, uneven, potholed road so it is difficult to get into your stride but the course is very pleasant. The marshalls were very encouraging and despite the hill at the halfway stage it's all downhill afterwards so not too testing. Definitely worth doing and I will be back next year - well done Stratford AC!
