In short: Great 10k! In full: flat course, picturesque made for PB's and brilliant for beginners. Always a great atmosphere- see you next year! Date of review: June 21, 2010

In short: Much better organisation and start for 2010 but unfortunately, we ran mostly around a housing estate in North Lincoln. The finish, past the Cathedral and in through the castle keep, is special, but I hope the old route is back for next year. Date of review: April 20, 2010

In short: Good value, nice atmosphere, good weather, excellent medal (if you like that kind of thing!) In full: -ve:
The start line was completely overcrowded, there were people split over everywhere, which was a tad chaotic.
The cobbled street end was pretty dodgy indeed!
Ending at the castle was great but inside the castle was way too overcrowded and congested, especially if you're hot and tired and trying to catch your breath.
+ve: The course, although not exactly picturesque in parts, allowed for my 2 fans (mum & gf) to see me twice, which was fun for them.
Parking - Excellent. £1 to park near the start line in the neighbouring school. Stewards were very friendly, and although you could have found a free space with a bit of effort, a quid was a fair price.
The goodie bag was excellent, lots of stuff in there and probably the best medal I've ever got. Much better than the Great Run ones.
Generally, a well organised race, decent course and worked well as an advert for the City of Lincoln, we visited the Catherdral etc afterwards - which is what I assume Lincoln Council were after. Date of review: April 13, 2010

In short: Good course, good scenery, could have been better organised at the start though as the timed areas were quite small Date of review: April 7, 2010

In short: Not as flat as some people make out! In full: Agree goodie bag was rubbish most of it straight into the recycle bin. Thought the course wasn’t PB potential as much as last year. If you look at the course altitude graph the last 3k were up hill and you had to do this part twice in the race! Yes it maybe not a steep hill but 3k on a steady incline is hard work! Maybe change the direction of the course next year. Date of review: March 26, 2010

In short: Definitely a race to do and fab support, but unless you can cram into the sardine tin of a poorly organised start, you're not likely to get a PB. However, this year the end was really well organised, with a fab medal. The goody bag was absolute pants. Date of review: March 25, 2010
